Photojournalist Amanda Mustard returns from Thailand to her childhood home in Pennsylvania in order to investigate the serial sexual abuse committed by her chiropractor grandfather, whose victims have included many of his young patients and nearly every girl and woman in Amanda’s family across three generations. Featuring the rare perspectives of both the victims and the perpetrator, the film follows Amanda as she searches for answers, confronting the trauma that has been passed down through her family, as well as the culture of silence in the wider community and the failures of the legal system that enabled her grandfather for decades.
