Heaven Admits No Slaves is a love story set against the background of Ukrainian Revolution. Svitlana and Askold, as well as their friends are transformed into extraordinary revolutionaries as millions of Ukrainians take to the streets to protest corruption and to envision a new civil society for human rights and democracy. But they soon find themselves in a conflict much darker and more sinister: war with Russia on the eastern border.
