If you are in the US, you likely know Public Media is in the firing line. As early as the week of 7th July, the Senate may vote on a proposal which would claw back $1.1 billion in public funding which was already approved by law. The effects will be devastating; here’s why.  ITVS, CPB, PBS, NPR, and more than 1,500 community-based stations face losing federal funding as soon as September 30, 2025.
