Long Synopsis

In Shadow Girl, the director bravely opens up her journey into darkness and shares it with the world.

Shot from the director's point of view, the audience follows her as she enters into the unknown, fighting to keep her dignity and her voice as an artist, and searching for a new way to see the world. We bear witness as she struggles with her demons and meets her saviours.

At once profound, mysterious, nuanced and celebratory, with the occasional dash of humour, Shadow Girl reflects our ability to overcome loss and rise from the ashes.
